If you have interests only in Physics and chemistry then I would suggest you to go for teaching as a profession, if you have Bio as subject in your 12th and have interest in Bio then you can choose medicinal professions like Pharmacy, Bioinformatics etc. You can also get into Civil Services and Bank PO jobs which will not involve very high level of Math. at graduation level you can take up courses like B.Sc Chemistry or B.Pharma or B.Sc chemical Science etc.

First of all you need to decide which is the career option you want to get into and accordingly you can plan which course you should opt for. If you choose B.A in Economics you can join research associates with economic consulting firms, Law can be another option, can also join Government services or non profit organizations as economists. You can join Civil Services and last but not least you can get into teaching profession. On the other hand if you opt for Sciology you can get into politics, teaching, and civil services you can go for higher studies in Social work or MBA in HR etc.

Few of the good Colleges in India for English Honours are: Lady Shri Ram College for Women, St. Stephen, St. Xaviers College - Kolkata, Chennai Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, Kirori Mal College and SGND Khalsa College, Miranda House, Zakir Hussain, and Hindu etc.
As far as admission is concerned although, the cutoff keeps on changing every year but the above mentioned Institutes are really good ones so, it seems difficult to get in with 60% in these Institutes.

Although, it would difficult to find Part time courses in engineering programme as it involves alot of practical work but few of the Institutes which you may try are: Anna University, Madras Institute of technology. Try with NIT kurukshetra as well.
