Hi Ayush as you are from delhi you will get some or the other branch but I don't think you will get EC because the closing rank for EC is quite high and it is the same for both the colleges. Actually both the colleges have almost same cutoff. Therefore whatever yiu get here you will get the same thing in NSIT.
I think you will get something like EE or ME in both the colleges.

Both the institutes mentioned by you are equally good and thus it will be very difficult to tell which one will be the best option. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute among them. You can consider the below parameters
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.

Both has good placement record in btech curriculum. Jadavpur university is one of the premier institute holding an age old reputation in studies, faculties. Recently, the culture has degraded, studies is being hampered by agitations and all. Keeping all the pros and cons in mind, u should go for kiit.
