Dentistry is a lucrative profession that is concerned with all health problems afflicting the mouth, teeth, gums and other hard and soft tissues of the oral cavity. It is accepted as a professional field which includes dental care and correction.
Those who want to make a career in this profession can purse BDS (Bachelor in Dental Science) or MDS (Master in Dental Science) in specialization areas like Orthodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Prosthodontics, Cosmetic dentists, etc.
Eligibility:
For BDS, eligibility for the entrance is Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the 12th class with minimum 50% marks and for MDS, you must have completed BDS.

As a BCA graduate you can go for Post graduation courses like MBA, MCA, M.Sc IT etc. There are also advanced certification programs also which will add to your benefit. Before choosing any of the higher studies course you must analyze your career goal and aspirations by choosing a particular domain on the basis of your strengths and aptitude.
MCA is most commonly preferred by the graduates after BCA. With an MCA or M.Sc IT you can easily enter in to any of the good IT companies. You can also work as a part of the IT support. If you have the flair for teaching can also enter in to this field by appearing in the NET exam. With a Post graduation degree on board, you can even go for Ph.D programs in India or even abroad.
With a post graduation you can also apply in various prestigious jobs in the government sector also. I would suggest you to take up either of the above two as both are highly dynamic, rewarding and challenging profession. I would suggest you to take up the regular masters followed by a good placement and continue to work hard with strong determination. And whenever the right moment comes, you can definitely opt for E-MBA after all that would serve as a value add on your career graph both professionally and salary meter.
