You have not mentioned your state from which you want to puruse your engineering Diploma course. However, if you belong to UP than you have to appear in UP Polytechnic Joint Entrance Exam (JEECUP) for getting admission in engineering and technology Diploma courses. The minimum required passing marks in 10th are 35% and if you are from Punjab then admission is purely based on the merit of qualifying examination (10th).

If you don't want maths as a subject in engineering better don't go for engineering because you will face maths,
either go for other courses which don't have maths.
for ex:- Journalism
I have seen a lot of people who chose science maths in there 12th but they chose journalism for the grad and they are happy too.
I'll suggest you should see those courses which don't have maths.
I hope it helps.

Hi,
How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
So, choose a suitable branch.
Go for it.
Thank you and keep asking!

The only difference between BE and B.Tech is that BE is theoretical while B.Tech involves practical knowledge. So, it depends on your interest which course you want to pursue.
