When PUBDET results are announced, ranks are issued for each candidate. However, the list of candidates eligible to take part in PUBDET counselling process is released separately on WBJEEB's official website. Only those aspirants who are eligible will be able to take part in the counselling/seat allocation process. The counselling and admission process will be conducted on the basis of merit and candidates will be allowed to appear for the counselling round only as per the date and time mentioned for them as per their rank.

You can get nautical Science B.Sc. and maritime Science B.Sc. In the IMU campus. But only apply if your vision is 6/6. Or else opt for B.Tech marine and B.Sc. Shipbuilding and wait till 2nd or 3rd counselling. You might have a chance if you have any reservation criteria else give it a try. You should have passed HSC (Class 12th) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics and secured a minimum 50% marks i.e., not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks for general category and 45% marks i.e., not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks for Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State. Maximum of marks obtained in Biology/Mathematics shall be considered for the purpose of addition.
