IITM Gurgaon is a Private Institute affiliated with MDU and few of its programmes are approved by AICTE, but I would again suggest the same thing which I suggested in my previous reply regarding placements and infrastructure, it is only through visiting the institute that you can get the first hand and best information. However, if you draw a comparison between Kurukshetra University and IITM the former is better.

Economics (H) & Chinese are two different subjects and there is no correlation between the two. However, there is no harm in learning another language it would definitely give you preference in various International level companies ( where Chinese is a language used) and you can also get into another parallel career apart from Economist that is of translator or can get a job in Chinese Embassy.

Indian Retail School is an Autonomous Institute which doesn't have either UGC or AICTE approval and its MBA programme is through Distance learning UGC approved University. As far as Placements are concerned although, the institute clames 100% placement but frankly speaking no institute can guarantee you placements, and more than the institutes your placement would depend on your own caliber, Performance on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of job interviews.
