There are many institutes in the country offering BCA degree and the admissions take place on the merit basis. the eligibility for BCA is a 12th pass with preference mostly given to students having studied Maths in +2.

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech. or its equivalent in the relevant subject with minimum of
two years experience as on 30 June 2011. For M.Tech. (CSE), the candidates with
B.E./B.Tech. in any branch of Engg., Masters Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics,
Statistics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Geo-Physics,
Computer Science, Electronics and MCA are also eligible.
Application form, containing full particulars, can be downloaded from
the college website www.uceou.edu or University website www.osmania.ac.in.
The printout must be taken on good quality inkjet printer / Laser printer, using A4
size paper only. Registration fee and other particulars are given in Annexure-I on
website. Candidates seeking admission in more than one Department are required
to apply separately for each Department. Application Form and all other
particulars will be available on websites from 12 May 2011.
Candidates have to submit Application Forms along with the registration fee of
Rs. 800/- drawn in favour of The Director, CEEP - Admissions, OU payable
at Hyderabad.

Eligibility

Admission Procedure
The selection is done through a written test and interview. For M.Tech (AI),
Candidates with a strong background in Computer Science (generally B.Tech Computer Science) are preferred. Its objective is to provide a concrete foundation in all major fields of AI.
Grad IETE and AMIE are considered as equivalent to B.Tech. for the purpose of admission to M.Tech.

If you are talking about IILM then in that case I would say that both are ranked equally. However, before deciding on your option I would suggest you to visit both the Institutes and try and talk to the current batch students and the faculty members. If possible also try and get the alumnae contacts. Apart from this few of the other things which you should check upon are: the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty (their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market. This will give you a real picture about the institute.
