If your graduation was of four years, maximum number of backlogs they would accept is eight. However, there is no surety even with less than eight backlogs. High commission evaluates each mark sheet individually and carefully. If you have more than 4 - 5 backlogs, it is advisable to not to take the risk.

Guide-Level 12

Hello Niraj,
The university selection is profile centric and also, UK is vast. You should also target universities which fits for your profile. You must know the eligibility criteria of the universities and see if you meet those. Learn about the university, reputation, program structure and so on. Until I know your grades and education details I can't help you much. You can still check the top universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, Leeds and Bath.
Best regards.

Engineering is the most sought career by PCM stream students. I would suggest you to pursue B.Tech and that too in CSE as opportunities are great in this field and are expected to rise more in the coming years. This field is not loner limited with IT industry as it is penetrating in almost every sector like education, health care, travel & tourism, entertainment, automobile, banking and insurance, construction, engineering, telecommunication. So, jobs for a computer science engineer will always be there in IT as well as in non-IT domains. But you should target some of the better universities out there for admission like: IIT, NIT, BITS
