To under stand the difference one needs to have a look at the curriculum that is taught. As far as my understanding goes there is not much difference between them .Off-late more colleges prefer the use of BBM and have added an element of corporate intern-ship as part of the course

In order to apply for BHM in hotel management you need to find out colleges offering this course. Some of the colleges offering BHM are CNG, BML, Lovely Professional University etc. You can check the website of these universities for further information. MBA degree is offered by UGC recognized university and PGDM is offered by aicte approved or autonomous institutions. There is not much difference. You should choose a good college, mba or pgdm does matter unless you have plan for phd.

IBS Mumbai is an average college around 90% students get placed every year but they don't have aicte approval. Welingkar KJ & ITM are much better college than IBS Mumbai.
