You opted for a very good branch. To achieve this, you must qualify with very good marks in JEE Mains so that you can secure your seat in an IIT as in this, only you will be able to complete your course with knowledge and as well as great skills. Many private colleges also offer this course but they are not reliable and authentic and also, the machine or the faculty members which are required are not available in these private colleges. IIT has great faculty members and placement too. Just go for it.
Best of luck.

If you like computers you can learn computers. So, you can also consider BCA as an option. If you want to go into pure science, you can consider B.Sc. As an option, no career option is good or bad.
