Your marks in JEE doesn't really assure you to get a seat into NIT Hamirpur. You still have some other best universities you can apply for. Just give it some extra effort this time. Private universities also provide best infrastructure these days and have excellent placement records. You can check out the following colleges -

No. There is no entrance exam for bsc in DU. Admissions are based on the percentage of class 12th. Best four subjects are considered which include physics, maths , one language and any other subject.
