To get into a business school one needs to appear for a competitive exam /open test and excel in it .Ideally one should have a 85+ percentile score to get admission in good business schools. Most business schools also insist on a candidate to have scored 50 to 55 % score at the graduation level examination to seek admission in MBA.Some institutes have a minimum bench mark of 50% and some have 55% as minimum bench mark

U may not get a good govt college try for some private colleges. If u are SC, ST or OBC then start working hard for JEE advance.

Well I can't really comment on it. It's has to be your personal choice considering all the factors that can impact. If you are keen on doing this year then joine college and if you think you might get better marks next year and you will be able to get into your target college then give it a try. But the choice is yours.

Hi Sonaal. UBS is a good business school. they have good faculty and campus. but are located far from Mumbai city (about 2 hrs). heard that placements range from 4 to 5 lacs per annum. you may also want to consider other choices in mumbai. but if u dont have any other options. its pretty decent. all the best!

Yes, everyone is eligible to do an MBA. IIMs or any other business school doesn't discriminate students based on educational background. On the contrary, they promote diversity and in the process provide some relaxation to students with non traditional backgrounds. In my personal experience, I have seen a lot of doctors, CA, science graduates doing an MBA.
