Number of attempts:

1. Be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
2. Have more than 75% (or 65% for SC, ST and PwD) in the board exams. If you have satisfied any of these criteria, don't worry. You have another chance to improve your score. You can reappear for your board exams but you have to give exams of all the subjects. So you have another chance to make your way to prestigious NITs, IIITs or IITs. It depends upon individual college/university's own criteria for the exam. Some colleges/universities conduct CET through online mode, some prefer offline mode. Kindly mention which CET are you talking about precisely so that you receive a better guidance.
