I think chances are high of getting into NIT and you will definitely be getting an NIT. For Open Category students, I think good branches are available in mediocre NITs and off-beat branches in old and well established NITs. It completely depends on the student. I would suggest you look at the official site of IIM Banagalore for the same. But, in general you need to give GMAT, prepare a SOP and get some recommendations. All this is then followed by an interview.
