6. Talk & Discuss with your faculty about the prospects of this career.

If you aim for a career in Programming, Software Development, Database Administration, Networking, etc, then you may pick BCA which is a three year full time course to introduce the concepts of Computer Application
Eligibility: A Candidate applying for the BCA Programme should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from any statutory board with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate(40 % in case of SC/ST candidates). Maths is mandatory.

To apply for admissions you need to fill up an online application form on our website- http://mriu.edu.in/ , the cost of application fee is Rs. 1200 . Payment can be made through Credit/ Debit card at the time of submission of application online only. Alternatively, candidate may purchase Admission Brochure from MRIU Campus, Administrative Headquarters or City Centers, details of which is available on university website. Admission Brochure contains a Scratch Card consisting of a covered number, which will facilitate submission of application form online.
The admission to B.Tech programmes is made on the basis of-
1. Merit in consolidated merit list with 60% weightage of JEE (Main) 2013 and 40% weightage of aggregate marks in qualifying examinations
2. Merit in Qualifying Exam (In case seats remain vacant after exhausting preference no. 1) The minimum eligibility criteria is- Pass in 10+2 examination with at least 65% marks (55% marks in 2nd Shift) in aggregate in 5 subjects including Physics, mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: a) Chemistry b) Bio Technology c) Computer Science d) Biology, from recognized Board/University.
