In India, aspirants who seek to become stock brokers must have a Bachelors degree in commerce or economics. It is also required for them to have a work experience of a minimum 2 years in a stock broking company.
In order to become a stock broker, an individual needs to register himself/herself with the stock exchange. To become a member, the aspirant will need to write an entrance exam and pass it. Subsequent to this, the aspirants will then have to undergo training. Some of the entrance exams available in this field are BSE certification on central depository, BSE certification on securities markets and BSE certification on derivatives exchange.
