The course is pretty good in Canada. Canada is in need of skilled engineers and workers. So, definitely there are good opportunities for this course. Also, if you pursue Masters which is of 2 years duration, then you'll be given 3 years of work permit. You'll be having lot of time to search for jobs.
And I would suggest you to choose universities which are in Alberta, British Columbia, New Foundland and Manitoba provinces as there is a huge scope for your desired field of study in these province.

I am sure Chandigarh University offers admission based on CAT, MAT, etc. Therefore, forget your CGA and try to do something in the entrance test.
