If your rank in engineering is 1034 you can get mechanical in any college through KCET counselling. I would recommend you to put RVCE first and then DSU, PESIT and MSRIT.

The score doesn't matter. Only CLAT AIR matters. In 2017, approximately AIR 2260 was the cut-off. If you have rank less than 2260, you have bright chances.

Do both together. There are online courses for SAP certification. Do that while doing MBA. You have 1-year to start MBA. Utilize time to do both one after another or together.

MBA has specialisation and not categories. MBA institutes have category such as tier 0 (ISB, IIMs XLRI) then tier 1 such as newer IIMs, NMIMS, JBIMS, FMS Delhi IIFT etc) then tier 2 as well as tier 3 MBA institutes.
As far as specialisation concern traditionally and most popular there are around 7 to 8 specialisation and tom dick harry kind of organisation come with their own specialisation. It purely depends on your interest level which specialisation you want to choose. You may choose IT and system or you may choose operation considering your background.
