Admission in DU. For those who manage to score more than 95% in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or other board exams, admission to Delhi University (DU) will not involve much of a struggle. Others who haven't also should not worry too much. Though high cut-offs can be intimidating, Delhi University has options for all levels of scorers. You can easily find a course and a college that suits you.

You will come across a good number of institutions offering BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications). The undergraduate programme is a three-year study on applications of computer systems and information technology. The course curriculum of this programme is somewhat similar to B.Tech CS/ IT, which however is a four-year programme and is more specialised. There is no programme called specialised BCA as such. However, a few institutions also offer some certificate courses/ add-on courses with BCA including Big Data, Data Analytics, etc. , which are indeed helpful. For further queries, feel free to ask. Yes, you have excellent marks for general Category in Mains. Between the two, I would suggest you to opt for the one which is nearest to you as these two do not hold a significant difference academically between them.
If both are around the same distance, I would suggest you NIT-Jaipur as the better one.
Also, try for SPA Bhopal over NIT Jaipur. Best of luck.

People generally take a year drop for JEE but for IIT JAM exam we are little apprehensive. But in my opinion taking one year off can give you enough time to crack IIT JAM or even any other exam. There are JEST TIFR etc. For M.Sc. Admission. You can read about IIT JAM here - https://www.eduncle.com/iit-jam-exam.

Guide-Level 14

Dear Prachi,
Dropping a year is only meaningful if you are confident enough to get the despaired result. Firstly, just go through IIT JAM. If you think that one year preparation is sufficient for you to get the desired branch and stream, you can drop otherwise you may look for any other college.
