No, you do not need to give both exams. For B.Tech admission at Lovely Professional University  (LPU), you have multiple options:

  1. LPUNEST: LPU's own entrance test. Giving this can also increase your scholarship chances.

  2. JEE Main: LPU also accepts JEE Main scores for admission.

You can take either LPUNEST or JEE Main both are not mandatory. Admission can be secured through one of these exams along with meeting the 12th eligibility criteria.

When it comes to placements, work-ex people have the benefit of sitting for lateral placements(exclusively for them) as well as final placements. Generally, the top companies prefer to offer managerial or higher roles to such people.

Hello Ritika,
I understand and appreciate your interest in pursuing android programming course. I would like to inform you that JAVA and Linux play a very dominant role in android programming. Though basics of these courses will surely be covered up by the coaching institute, I would recommend you to first pursue a course on Java and Linux to be able to understand the more advanced programming concepts easily and quickly.
