No, you do not need to give both exams. For B.Tech admission at Lovely Professional University (LPU), you have multiple options:
LPUNEST: LPU's own entrance test. Giving this can also increase your scholarship chances.
JEE Main: LPU also accepts JEE Main scores for admission.
You can take either LPUNEST or JEE Main both are not mandatory. Admission can be secured through one of these exams along with meeting the 12th eligibility criteria.
