As far I know, in some colleges, it is allowed that student from other branches ,other than CSE can pursue his MTech in CSE but under some conditions. You have to write your GATE paper in CSE. Directly, other branches are not admitted as MTech is a research field and without knowledge. Colleges won't admit any non-BTech CSE into CSE in MTech.

Hi,
Hard to tell, firstly, you must get the admission offer letter from the university. If you have not applied yet you should. If its late the visa process will be delayed and it might affect your classes. If you are applying under general category it will take a longer time. As admission deadline closes, number of applicants also increases and this also affects processing time. Many students have to defer their classes as a result. Check the time table with the university.

Your score is a BIT low for top B Schools like in Maharashtra Welingkar, KJ Somaiya, SP Jain, and BIMM etc. at this score you can apply for tier 2 - tier 3 colleges like IBMR, Sinhagad, UBS etc. which have a low placement ratio and salary. For admission to top B Schools not only the score is important, but also your studies background and your personality. So, you can go for these college at least you can apply for those colleges. Further, you can also try for direct entry to top institute by paid quota. Further, for details on paid quota feel free to contact me on given details above. Thank you.

PGCET Karnataka is a relatively easy exam compared to GATE or other entrance exams by Private Universities like Manipal Entrance Test. But, don't take it lightly. Old question papers are much significant here than in any other test. Might be MBA or M.Arch, ME or M.Tech the fund remains the same. Dig through old question papers, find the way of asking questions, get your own Fundamentals of the Topic notes, devote some time for solving 1 mark interview questions and there you go. You will find yourself in top shelves of PGCET rankings. PGCET has a different approach than most of other competitive examinations. It seems easy in the begin
