Hi Monika. Your question totally depends on which intake term you are planning to take admission in. There are 2 terms when a batch for a particular course starts i.e. Fall and Spring. Fall session batch usually starts in September and Spring session batch usually starts in January. If you are targeting the Spring session, then this is the right time for you to take the IELTS because your application will not get reviewed until and unless the university has received your IELTS score. Provided you are targeting the Fall session, then you can concentrate on your preparation for some more time(about 2-3 months) and then take the IELTS but

For doing an MCA from AICTE approved colleges its Enterence Exam is a MUST.
If you want to do MCA from Deemed university then Enterence is not required but they have their own Interview Sessions for Selecting Students.
