You could certainly do good, if you are creative, passionate & could develop desired skills for the field through your hard work. For admission in various programs there is a direct entry, but for full time kind of courses you need to clear entrance. NID, IIT-IDC are better in India and VFS is good in Canada. Duration varies from one year to three year and fee is subjective to the program

By Maya, if you are referring to the software introduced by Autodesk you can then look for various animation institutes in India. Most of the institutes offering 3D Animation are offering Maya.
