Hi Aditya, Finance - first & foremost criteria if you want to go for finance is you should be interested as well as good with numbers! The finance domain is driven by statistics & formulas hence take the call accordingly. Marketing - If you have known already you don't want to get into the number zone & you are good with people or a complete extrovert, you can opt for marketing. Moreover if you are creative thinker, breaking new things & innovating, you should opt for marketing. P. S - This is my view & there is no Science behind what you should take as such so look at the pros & cons & the future what you want to see. Hope it helps!

You have asked a very critical enquiry. I say so because you have done 12th and also Diploma. What it means is that you have passed Diploma in 2017 and if you had done this after your 12th then you must have passed 12th at least three years before. Normally for getting admission in NIT or IIT etc. , 3 years window is provided but IIT's also accept Diploma as equivalent to 12th. But I am afraid, my own reading tells me that you are not eligible. But you can still seek clarification on an individual basis from NTA or the agency conducting the exam.

Dude. There is nothing like very secure in this world for an individual. It's all the game of chance. What is stored in the future nobody can predict. This is equally true of the different engineering branches. What branch holds sway today need not hold its position in future. However the three fundamental branches of civil, mechanical and electrical will have their own requirements in times to come but in the present times it is the information technology or CSE which is holding the most important tag. Since majority of placements are in this branch only.
