Hi Deepika,
You are eligible to apply to Diploma in fashion technology. But more preference is given to those who have passed their 12th standard. Minimum age requirement is 15 years. An entrance exam is held for the purpose of admission in the course of diploma in fashion technology.
Diploma in fashion technology is a 3 year course offered by various institutes. The syllabus is split into 6 parts, examination taken every November/ December and May/ June. In this course duration students are evaluated on the basis of practical examination as well as theoretical examination held every six months.

As per the decision of the stream i would suggest you to take up the stream of your interest as both the stream you have mentioned have good scope, I would suggest you to take up the proper career counselling related to both the mentioned streams and understand the syllabus and content which would be taught to you during the course ans join the center which interest you.
