For admissions you might have to give GRE, IELTS/TOEFL or any other exam as per the university requirement.
As for graduation marks is concerned, 60-70 % would do. GRE average 300-320+ is usually preferred.

However, you must first check if you're suited for Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation. However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring. Even god doesn't assure you life how would an institute or college would assure you the placements. There are various colleges which offers campus recruitment and hence the companies are being called in the college and they shortlist the candidates there, Don't be dis heartened after reading my answer, see to be true i have never understood the theory of 100% JOB ASSURANCE to be true it is not possible i feel whenever you join an institute rather for looking 100% JOB ASSURANCE you should look for 100% QUALITIES IN THE TRAINING because if you have proper knowledge related to the course you are doing you would not need the help of the institute for placement.
