Hi,
The eligibility criteria for the admission in IIST Thiruvananthapuram are:
1) Candidate should be a citizen of India.
2) Candidate must have secured 70% in the qualifying exam. The qualifying exam should have been passed with physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
3) For SC, ST and PhD above mentioned criteria is 60% aggregate in qualifying exam (with PCM).

Yes, you can. Any graduation course which legally allows you to practices medicine or alternate medicine can do MD. No, the number of years does not get reduced.

You must clear 12th from any government approved school.
The maximum age limit is 23 years.
The eligibility criteria for Masters program are as follows:
You should have an undergraduate degree or undergraduate Diploma of minimum 3 years from NID/NIFT.
