Hi,
If you complete your education from NIFT then you will have good opportunities in the career ahead because it's the second best college in design after NID. Also, it's a government college. NIFT also has a centralized placement system where a Bachelors student easily get a starting salary of 3 Lacs per annum and Masters student get a starting salary of 4 Lacs per annum (on an average).

However for your reference please remember training in commercial flying can be taken with flying clubs, the Rashtriya Udan Academy, Private Flying academies.
The training goes through 3 stages of licence.
The licences have to be procured in the following order:
1. Student Pilot Licence (SPL)
2. Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
3. Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
- After Class XI/XII (with PCM) students can apply for the SPL.
- On passing Class XII (PCM) they may enroll for the next licence - PPL.
- On getting the PPL training begins for CPL.

The average salary offered is Rs 4-5 lakhs per annum. Normally experienced students get better salaries than freshers. Finance and Marketing streams got higher packages compared to HR. When I spoke to seniors, they said that which specialization gets better salary actually varies from year to year.

To be able to become a software engineer, you need to have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) combination in your 12th standard. After you 12th board examinations are ovee, you need to appear for various entrance examinations.
