Hi Medara, UPSC examination is conducted every year for the recruitment of IAS, IPS, IFS officers.
The examination is conducted every year in the month of May and June and its main exam is in the month of December.
The notification for this exam comes out in the month of January end.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
1)A candidate should have a degree of graduation in any field from any recognized university.
2)A candidate in his final year is also eligible for the civil services exam. (IPS, IFS, IAS)
3)A candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.
4)A candidate must be an indian citizen.
To crack the exam, the preparation requires the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy. The preparation requires focused study rather than plain hard work.
You can refer to guide books like General Studies Manual, Indian Politics by Lakshmikanth, Ancient History by D.D.Kausambi’s, R.S.Agarwal [Arithmetic], Wren & Martin [English Grammar], Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation by Arun Sharma, etc.
