As you are keen to pursue B.Tech after completing you DIploma in Engineering, you are eligible to apply for most of the engg colleges in the country which are recognized by the govt. bodies, under the lateral entry scheme.
In most of the institutes under the state government the admissions are carried out on the basis of qualifying SLEEE - State Level Engineering Entrance Exam, you may qualify the same to be shortlisted for B.tech programs, however, there are many other entrance exams depending on the institute where you wish to enroll.
