B.Com(Tax Procedures and Practices) is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as accounts and maths. Subjects studied under this degree are Indian Tax System, Financial Accounting, Principles of Management, Value Added Tax and Central Tax Procedure, Financial Accounting and Business Communication.

-B.Tech and Journalism are absolutely different courses with different job options.Be sure about opting for both as you may required to balance two different types of studies together.You can pursue part time Journalism degree/diploma with your regular B.Tech course provided you meet the eligibility criteria for both.
-Few notable distance learning institutes include IGNOU,SMU,SCDL etc.
