from which institution have u done ur B.Tech?. If u have passed associate membership exams from AMIE (I) or ICE (I) then it is not AICTE approved but by MHRD/UPSC etc which is enough. i would strongly suggest u to opt for +2 as u will get thorough wit core maths which is very essential to pursue BE. Diploma in any engg will not hv the kind of maths tht +2 has. Also only a handful of seats are reserved for diploma pass candidates for admission to 2nd yr BE. With +2 u can do BSc just in case u felt tht engg is not wht u want to do. so a +2 is always better than a diploma. Just in case ur not able to get into BE due to low percentage or high cut off a diploma will not tk u too far in ur career!!!!!!
