The first steps to obtain your student visa:

If college will fund your stipend for your Ph.D, it would be a better option. If not, it will take a long time to get out of this course and to find jobs either in the education field or in any other field. No company will recruit Ph.D graduates directly at the initial level because of the fact that they need to pay a higher amount for the same job that would be done by a UG student. Please select carefully. Only if they provide stipend during your Ph.D then opt for the same.

B.A has scope but frankly, you have to search for jobs, jobs will not call you. That is you have to work hard to get a good job for you.
After B.A you can apply for government sector jobs like Bank PO and clerk, IAS, IPS, CDS, school teacher jobs, home tutor, railway jobs, etc.
So if you want to do B.A, then I will advise you to do M.A also. Then your job areas will be widened a little.

It is important to make an informed choice based on your interest, skill set and by communication with elders and mentors too. You may consider doing a degree in your chosen field. Alternately, you may do degree in popular fields like computer Science and IT or say even a Diploma is fine and alongside a professional certificate course in photography and animation. That way you have multiple options albeit with good focus.
