In terms of cut-offs, DCRUST seems more competitive than Thapar University. However, placements is what matters.
Thapar University will expose you to some great companies like Amazon, D Shaw, Sandisk, ZS and Deloitte which might not be same with DCRUST. If your pocket is not constrained you should go for Thapar else DCRUST is a good choice considering a comparison between the same engineering branches.

BBA is an undergraduate management degree whereas MBA is a post graduate degree. So, if you have a bachelor degree (BA) then you will be eligible for a Master's degree only that is MBA only.

Scholarships are based on merit, they are given by the universities (you are applying to) to deserving students. Generally applicants are considered by default and the most meritorious ones are considered. Very good academic grades, a good GRE score, above 310, TOEFL score above 100, extracurricular activities, SOP, recommendation letters etc. Are evaluated.

I don't think there are any management seats for MBA in Christ University. You will have to write your entrance exams to get through.
