*If you are determined for a job in bank, preparations for exams must be started well in advance. Most bank exams have common sections like Aptitude, Logical, so its better you start from them.

Information Technology (IT) is the application of computers to store, study, retrieve, transmit, and manipulate data or information, often in the context of a business or other enterprise. IT is considered a subset of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
While Information science is an interdisciplinary field primarily concerned with the analysis, collection, classification, manipulation, storage, retrieval, movement and protection of information. Practitioners within and outside of the field study application and usage of knowledge in organizations along with the interaction between people, organizations, and any existing information systems with the aim of creating, replacing, improving, or understanding information systems. Information science is often (mistakenly) considered a branch of computer science however, it predates computer science and is a broad.

First of all, for MS, you profile matters the most. Whatever the project you handled, work experience or internships make your MS plan bit easier. Even if your profile is not that amazing, still there's a chance so that you should score GRE impressively (320+ is better). Your good SOP (statement of Purpose), well defined letter of recommendation from at least two universities will help you to be considered that you're capable of handling the program they offer.
