Well as per your query, In case you want to go for MBA with HR, XLRI is a good option but as you from Geography (H) background, assuming that you more inclined towards social sciences, then I would suggest you to go for M.A Social Works with HR specialization from TISS as it is one of the prestigious institute in its domain.
Both are esteemed and honored institutes, you can opt any one of them after carefully scrutinizing each on various parameters like faculty, quality of education, placements , infrastructure etc.

Both PTU and SMU are recognized by the governing bodies to conduct distance courses and seem to be relevant to pursue the MBA programs. You can make a choice on the basis of the factors like the fees, specializations offered, also you should find out the study centers in your city and the feedback for the same, based on which you can get to a decision.
As rightly said by @NeerajGupta you can also refer to other institutes like IMT CDL, ICFAI, in fact there are several other institutes which conduct such courses and to know about the same, you may also refer to the goven link below:

The three main sections of Common Admission Test(CAT) are Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation,Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability.There are quite a number of books available for the students to prepare all the three aspects of the competitive examination.In all the three the best book you can go through is of R.S Agarwal.But,you can even prefer the below mentioned books
For Quantitative Ability you can prefer books of O.P. Sinhal,The Pearson Guide To Quantitative Aptitude by Nishit K Sinha,
For Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation you can prefer Data Interpretation and Logical by Arun Sharma,
For Verbal Ability you can prefer Verbal Ability by Arun Sharma.

After the BCA the best course for you is MCA Because. If you are Interested in Computer Field Then MCA is best And Primary Option for You And after completing MCA you will get good Job in top IT companies with good Salary Pacakage.
And If you are Not go with MCA course and Intrested in Computer field, then you can also go with short term courses like CCNA, MCSE, Java, Dot Net and many short term courses.
After completing BCA, you can also do MBA course. If you are Make your career bright in Management Field and Intretesed to open your own Business, then You can Go with MBA course. MBA is 2 year post Graduate degree course and in this course you can opt many specilization like Finanace, Marketing, HR, IT etc.
After completing MBA, you will find Jobs in Top MNC companies With Good Salary Pacakage. So you can Do either MBA or MCA after BCA, Only if you are interested to do Master degree course, Besides that you can also do Short term Courses in Computer field.
But its totally depends on your Interest, So please choose Course according to your Interest, Only then you can get sucess in your Career.

You can do MCA only if you had maths as one of your subject during your 10+2.
To do MCA one must have passed his graduation in any discipline and 10+2 with maths. If you didn't had maths in 12 then sorry but you are not eligible for MCA.
You can do an M. Com or MBA if you want to flourish your career.If you do your masters or MBA after BCom then you can be well above an engineer
MBA finance is the best option available after Bcom as.it will increase the career options available to you.
After Mcom you can go for lecturership, research, industry.
If you have resources and could get good college go for MBA if not so complete your M.com
You can also do CA or CS.
MBA can be colmpleted later if you have interest.

Hi Karan, Gujarat Education Board conducts GUJCET for providing admission to undergraduate medical, pharmacy and engineering courses. And the admission form for the GUJCET can be procured by all aspirants from the schools that are participating in this entrance examination. The form can also be got by post. Application forms will be available in the month of January, 2012.
And for the All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE), it is carried out for providing admittance to students into the graduate level Engineering and Architecture/Planning programmes in India. One can apply for the AIEEE exam by the online or offline methods. Forms can also be got by post from the office of the Assistant Secretary (AIEEE) and from the regional offices of the CBSE. Other options are the chosen branches of the Syndicate Bank or other Designated Institutions. The forms can be submitted online from the mid week of November to the second week of January.

Hi Ankit, scope of merchant navy in India is very promising one. The number of ship and cruise are increasing, also private giants are investing crores in ports,and sea trade.There is a boom in this sector with handsome salary package.
You can enter it right after your 12 (PCM) after completing 1 years pre-sea training as a deck cadet.
After completing B.Sc.(Nautical Science) in the officer cadre which will lead you to become captain after 5-7 years of experiance.
You can also join it directly after b.tech in marine engineering,or mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunication, naval architect. Except marine engineering candidates others have to undergo a 10 months pre-sea training which is offered by many institute and port trusts or recruitingcompany itself. After that you will be appointed as a 5th or junior engineer. It will take you 5-7 years depending in your own abilities for becoming 'chief engineer'.
