Hi Siva, one tip to reduce the negative marking is to answer those questions for which you have correct answers. When once you are done go for those questions for which you know the answers with similar distractors. Zero down the answer by the process of elimination. If you have watched the KBC you must have had an idea of the same. I'd also request @ Nikhilesh Mathurl, @ Aneeket, @ Gautam and other experts to share their valuable suggestions.
regards& Best wishes,
Gomti

Hi Amrita,
I remember conversing with you yesterday. Great to see you popping up with another query.
Well as per your query, In case you want to go for MBA with HR, XLRI is a good option but as you from Geography (H) background, assuming that you more inclined towards social sciences, then I would suggest you to go for M.A Social Works with HR specialization from TISS as it is one of the prestigious institute in its domain.
Both are esteemed and honored institutes, you can opt any one of them after carefully scrutinizing each on various parameters like faculty, quality of education, placements , infrastructure etc.
Wish you all the good

Hi Krishnendu,
As rightly said by Aru CAT test is not about the number of questions you attempted but about the number of questions you attempted rightly and I would add here that you have to maintain a section wise cut off as well so it will also depend on how many correct questions you have attempted in each section.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a "best answer" or pressing the "thumbs up" icon.
Thanks,
Pooja

Hi Sanjay,
Both PTU and SMU are recognized by the governing bodies to conduct distance courses and seem to be relevant to pursue the MBA programs. You can make a choice on the basis of the factors like the fees, specializations offered, also you should find out the study centers in your city and the feedback for the same, based on which you can get to a decision.
As rightly said by @NeerajGupta you can also refer to other institutes like IMT CDL, ICFAI, in fact there are several other institutes which conduct such courses and to know about the same, you may also refer to the goven link below:
