Hi Esha,
The official information is not out yet. Some news sources says the recommendation of scrapping of class 12 boards marks weight-age is likely to be accepted for JEE Main.
I am not sure about the year from which it can be implemented. For 2016, I suggest you to consider 12 board marks for JEE Main.
Just wait and watch though!

Doctors working in an environment of armed conflict face situations. Regular Army and the Army Reserve as a medical officer tend to face different challenges to those in civilian regular practice. The ethical complexities facing doctors generally increases in regular practice. In Civilian practice decisions are really more about what treatment is or isn't appropriate, and when it is futile to continue such treatment. You may wonder what you are going to do with this new phase of your life. Treatment may not be technically or physically possible.

Hi Divya,
All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi are the two most important national-level medical entrance exams in India.
AIIMS examination level is undoubtedly tougher than the AIPMT exam. It is highly competitive because of limited number of seats and the difficulty level of questions asked in the exam.

Hi Reshu,
It's not only college that is in question, you also need to maintain a hospital with 27 departments and that takes a lot and lot of money. So private medical colleges are way expensive than engineering colleges.

Hi Reshu,
This is a good / steady joke, reservation system is a curse, especially in higher education. The reservation should be based on family income only. This not only frustrates general people but also compromises the quality of education. This also causes division between students. Every logical person understands the side effects but there is nobody to tie the bell in the cat's neck!

Dear Reshu,
A degree is a qualification that an individual acquires to pursue their professional goals in life. In India there is a lack of good doctors and the doctor to patient ratio is also below the required. So, definitely MBBS is quite sought after.
But as technology is evolving everyday so is the need of good engineers. I suggest you ask yourself what kind of profession will give you satisfaction. If you are satisfied and happy, you will definitely be successful in any profession you opt for. So, don't base your decision solely on the demand of a degree.
If you need further assistance in your decision feel free to write back.

Hi Lovey,
In India, after 10+2 students have to appear for entrance test like PMT, CBSE or AFMC etc to get admission into about five-year graduate programme of MBBS. After a valid MBBS degree, you can practice medicine independently or either pursue a post graduate degree of MD or MS.
If you plan to study medicine abroad , you have number of options to consider. Studying medicine in US /UK/Australia can be very expensive. So if you are thinking of alternatives it is here. To get a quality and affordable medical education you can choose Russian countries, China, Philippines, Germany, St. Lucia, Ukraine and the America- based countries.
