Hi Nidhi,
Since you have attended one year of coaching already, and if you are a determined student who wouldn't need supervision on your studies, and if you have good family support, i suggest you stay at home and study. Do more and more MCQs and towards Feb and March, take the tests conducted by coaching centers and find out how you are doing with your peers.
Believe in God, study well. Am sure you are pretty determined. So all the best dear. And hope you make it through with flying colours.

Hi Nidhi,
A few years back I would have told MS/MD is better than DNB for the simple reason that the selection process for DNB was highly suspect. You getting into a DNB program depended on the right kind of people you knew or on the mercy of the institute you were working as a medical officer. It wasn't at all fair. There was no credibility for the doctor getting in. Also pass percentage was extremely low.
But things have changed since 2010. There is an All India DNB entrance exam and a central counselling process for both primary and secondary DNB which now adds credibility to the course. Also now with Supreme Court order removing that

Hi Anu,
The function of a IT security professional is to protect the data and systems in the network that are connected to the internet. A hacker tries to find loopholes in a system and break into it.
The job of a IT security professional is the same as of a typical hacker, but with a difference, i.e. to fix the loopholes in a system before it is exploited by the hackers.

Hi Rupa,
No it's not worth it and it wouldn't help you much. Most of the courses are trashy. Instead of that you should focus on any course which teaches basics of networking, network security, python and linux. And you can get all these on internet, in some good books and most importantly Coursera has amazing courses on these topics every now and then.

Hi Rupa,
No, it's not because of the following reasons :
1.) It wasn't designed to be for hacking in general ( you need to go through the JVM to get to the OS to get to the hardware).

3.) Most network protocol handlers are not written in Java. They are written in C+ and gets imported to Java.
4.) You will find significantly less open-source projects that fit your tasks as an ethical hacker. For example, the Firefox browser code is written in C+ and you can modify the code to perform Denial-Of-Service Attacks or Web Request Forgery o
