Minimum Qualification
Full Time Diploma /Certificate Courses: - Candidate must have completed 16 years of age and passed (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognised Board, candidate appearing in above examinations may also apply.
Admission to the eligible candidate will be made on the basis of Personal Interview and/or Admission Test. Few seats are available for Direct Admission each year for deserving candidates. Candidates should apply well in advance for Direct Admission along with first Instalment of fees by Demand Draft.
How to Apply
Candidate seeking admission in IIFT are required to fill the prescribed from enclosed with the Prospectus. Or your can download the form in this site itself. The Prospectus priced at Rs. 300/ may be obtained from IIFT - H-12,South Extn. Part I, New Delhi. 110049, from 9 AM to 5 PM on all working days. The students residing outside Delhi may obtain Prospectus on payment of Rs. 300/ if desired by Post 350/ through Courier either by sending Postal Order or Demand Draft in favour of International Institute of Fashion Technology , New Delhi.

Well I would say that as per my knowledge M B B S is the minimum eligibility criteria to opt for D M R D course. Yet I would like you to confirm once with your peer group and faculty concerned.
For your concern, I can suggest you for an MBA program in hospital management or M.D in Ayurveda. Graduates in Ayurveda can do further clinical research or they can do courses on clinical trials. Or may be courses like:-
M.D or M.S Ayurveda
M.S Ayurved Dhanvantari
MD Ayurved Vachaspati
MD or MS Ayurved Vachaspati
M.Phil Ayurved Sindhant
M.Phil Kayachikitsa
You can even undergo short-term diploma courses offered under different Ayurveda Colleges. These courses include topics on Naturopathy & Yoga Therapy, Panchakarma, Neonatal care. You can also opt for short-term courses on Modern Anatomy, Physiology, Principles Of Medicine, Social And Preventive Medicine, Toxicology, Forensic Medicine.

I remember answering your post related to languages and can make out that you confused with right career option. I would suggest you to take the one wherein you possess keen interest and passion. You can go for short term courses which are professional in nature like Tourism, Hospitality, Fashion Designing, Air/Railway Ticketing, Computer Language, etc.
I personally believe what matters is you should be happy. If you'll take something that is not your cup of tea, it would eventually result in disaster. Take help from your faculty in school who would help your parents understand the point.
You can analyze the various opportunities available and select the right path based on your personal criteria which should include:
*The interest and aptitude towards the subject
*Interest to get a job
*The future Demand for the particular program
