Each MBA specialization needs specific personality traits for excelling in the profession say if you are outspoken and like traveling, meeting people, take target pressure then Marketing could be a preference & is you are a peoples person wherein you like counseling people and act as an advisory & wants a desk top job bonded by rules & regulations then HRM will be exciting. Since you have work experience in trade compliance you could look at Operations as a specialization. So, do evaluate your inherent personality traits and then take a call.

If you want to have a career in Agri related sectors, then specialisation in Agri-business managements helps.
You can opt for a general MBA programme if you are okay to pursue a career in other sectors and fields of specialisation.
MBA from a very good college always gives you an upper hand. I would suggest you to score well in CAT and then apply for MBA programme.

With statistics degree you are eligible for jobs as PO or clerical services in Public Sector Banks. It will be difficult to get job in large IT companies with only graduation degree in statistics. You are advised to do courses on BigData or Data Analytics for job in IT industry.
