There are basically 4 sections in MBA entrance exam - Verbal Ability, DILR, Quants and GK-
Verbal Ability:
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do a proper analysis of articles on the editorial page. Try to make a summary of articles that you read para by para. But reading a newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis. DILR
This is one of the toughest section, especially from previous 2-3 years. Not only it is tough but it also checks how quick your senses are and how good you are in selecting the sets. So the best thing to score in LR-DI is to practice more questions on a daily basis so you understand which sets you should leave and before attempting the sets what are the things you should look for. I would suggest this book 'Puzzles by George J Summers'. Quants
This section is one of the most scoring section for student and you too should try to get maximum marks in this section. It has a proper syllabus and you need to practice each and every chapter. The major topics are- Geometry, Arithmetic, Algebra, Number System and Modern Math. It is basically the math that you have studied till the tenth standard. However, having said that, the questions are not really easy. Focus more on Arithmetic and Algebra as these two are the most important topics. GK
Read newspaper daily for current affairs and go for Lucent for static GK.

All the three Universities are one of the best universities in the country. But in my opinion, Alliance University is currently better in terms of placement, faculty members, and course structure is one of the best in terms of Management course in the country. The seat in Alliance School of Business is very limited so, it completely depends on an individuals performance in the entrance test and Personal Interview round. Alliance University is currently ranked 60th in the NIRF including all the top IIMS and Some top-notch private universities. It is the 2nd best Management College in Bangalore after IIM Bangalore. Alliance University is ranked 3rd best Business School among Private universities, 3rd best business school in South India including IIMS. It is currently a best college for MBA. Alliance has more than 600 plus recruiting partners which provides a good placement to the student. The highest placement from Alliance University till now has been 21 LPA. IBS and Amity are known to many of us and thy are few of the most favoured college for MBA by most of the student. I am going to graduate in June, and I also have these three colleges in my list, but the problem with Amity and IBS is their admission intake is around 1200 for MBA in IBS and around 700 in Amity because of this the recruiting Companies goes for Mass hiring, and it reduces the average package. Whereas in Alliance student intake is less and it increases the average package for the students.
The Average Packages are for the same universities-
Amity University 4.5 LPA
Alliance University 7.6 LPA
IBS 6.5 LPA
So, if you fulfil all the eligibility criteria and score good marks in the entrance exam, then you have a good chance to receive the call.
