Normally, the course has a cap of 120 students but institutes have introduced new courses in separate vertical that increases batch strength of each college.
Top premier colleges have a cutoff which you can easily get on their webpage.There are some colleges who select students based on their profile.

Which university / institute do you want to know about? IIMs are different, they get placement packages up to 1 crore. Coming to remaining other B-schools, everybody gets around 5 LPA as average placement package.
