At present, the admission to the Physics programme in TIFR is for Ph.D. degree only. TIFR do not admit students for M.Sc. Or M.Phil separately (please see the SBP-Guidelines). Eligibility :- An M.Sc. In Physics the basic requirement for admission to the Ph.D. degree programme, but B.Sc. Graduates with consistently very good academic record are encouraged to apply. Candidates with B.Tech or M.Tech degree in relevant areas will also be considered. Students must be selected through the TIFR research Scholars' admission procedure and admitted to the Institute as a graduate student. Selection criteria :- GATE/NET/CSIR/JEST +Written test and Interview.

You're only aiming for NIT Trichy? Why not IITs or other private institutions? How can you expect results without working hard for it?
Another thing: are you okay with getting into NITT, but into chemical or metallurgy, and get a 4 Lacs job? NIT fees are going to be hiked to almost 2 Lacs per year without hostel. Is it okay with you?
If you have the passion for those subjects and don't mind the salary, then it's fine. But I get this question from juniors who ask this question based on some placement surveys, so I don't know how you are any different. Mind you, only CS EC & EE get good salaries for core jobs.
Placements are in bad shape, teachers are very bad atleast for the first 2 years and trichy's weather is extreme and will drain out all your energy if you aren't motivated enough. Students don't learn anything in comparison to the other local colleges in trichy. Think multiple times before joining this place.
Moreover, you can crack JEE Mains with good marks within one year to get into NIT trichy if you work hard in 12th standard now.

The scope for an MBA in operations in India are immense. I know many companies such as L&T Engineering, TVS motors, Zuari group, Bosch are some examples and scores of other cos have recruited/are hiring freshly minted MBAs for their operations. Banks such as, Yes Bank also hire for their operations. There is lot of scope besides other functions/disciplines like general management roles, sales & marketing, finance, consulting and so on. There are product management roles also in technology cos. But, it is paramount that you graduate from a good MBA school, preferably in top 30 schools. The average salary for operations will be about INR. 12 lacs per annum, of course depending on the MBA school you graduated, and the company you are hired.
