Hi Parvez,
Although, you can start your preparation anywhere in India but it would depend on how you want to prepare if you want to join a coaching Institute then it would be advisable to look for options in metro cities like Delhi as Srinagar would not have many options moreover, you also need to check whether there is an Examination center for GRE in Srinagar or not. As far as I know GRE centers are located only in 8 or 12 cities and Srinagar is definitely not one of them. However, if you are planning for self study then you can do that from anywhere but anyhow you need to check for the examination center in that case as well.

As far as I am aware there is not a single business school in the world worthy of its name that offers admission for MBA to applicants without a reasonably good academic background. In other words, a minimum first class is required aprt from good TOEFL and GMAT scores.

Hi Shiva,
As already rightly explained by Raja M G, I would also like to stand by his information as this is the most relevant manner to get in for CA.
Also as an initiative made by ICAI + IGNOU, the bodies are providing a combo course right after 12th where in a student can study CA and along with can also pursue B.Com through IGNOU.
Please refer to the ICAI listing:
