Hi Alice, it is necessary to take French classes and achieve a level requested by the Universities. Mos of the courses are taught in French. The courses though are taught in English first until the students pick up French well. Thereafter the courses begin in French. Hence depending on how soon the French teaching begins one has to be prepared.

Hi,
Please find below the admission requirements for studying masters of engineering at the University of Toronto:
1) GRE Exam: Preferable score 700 in each section i.e. quant and verbal.
2) IELTS: Minimum 6.5 band score
3) Undergraduation percentage must be 78% and above. Incase percentage is not meeting the requirement, a conditional admission offer will be given which would be considered unconditional after certain foundation courses are completed before the program starts.

If by mentioning MAC you meant M.Sc, going for M.tech after this is rare as an option available with most of the institute accepting admissions only if you have a B.tech degree and instead of a M.Sc. But there is a provision in the GNDU and for which the eligibility lies:
MCA/ M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ M.Sc. (IT) or equivalent with at least 60% marks in aggregate, from a recognized University.
