Hello!
It basically depends upon you category. If you are from general category and Delhi resident, then a rank about 1 lakh will get you a branch at least in DTU. Moreover, you should qualify JEE Mains for branch of your choice.

Hello Manavendra, cut off scores for different course vary from 600 to 3000. However, AIR in JEE Mains this year will be totally different than the last year. My advise is not to worry about ranking but concentrate on studies. Best wishes.

You will get admission in many colleges but since you use the word good before college, my answer is No. Sorry to say this but there is no chance. Don't lose hope and try to get more than 85% in CAT next time, you will get good college.

You have good chances to get admission in a good B-school. You can get new IIMs if your overall profile is good. You can try to convert top private colleges like IMI-D, IMT-G, GIM, MDI-G, Great Lakes, IFMR and TAPMI.

78.19 percentile is a good score but the trend of TAPMI is to take percentile above 80. You can apply with XAT separately. How much did you score in XAT?

MBA from a good B-School can only give a jump start to a management career. MBA from low ranked B-School may not give any value addition to you. If your academic records are good then you can crack CAT. You may evaluate dropping a year and preparing for CAT to seek admission in a top B-School.
