if u wish to suceed in IFS the most prelimnary requirement is that beside your subject, you ought to have command over current affairs . Prepare notes from newspaper on daily basis related to current affairs sports politics and general knowledge. Beside nespaper go through manorama year books , make a habit of reading and making notes from Pratiyogita Darpan, Competition master or competiton success.You should start your preparation atleast 2 years in advance. Firstly, University of Delhi does not offers a BCA degree however the University is offering MCA.
There are several other institutes/ Universities for the BCA course and the eligibility for which remains 12th pass with a minimum of 50% (may differ from one institute to the other).

The best way to improve your Speaking & Communication skills is to listen to news channels and read newspapers this will not only increase your General Knowledge but also make you fluent in English. Also read as many Novels as you can and the best way to improve your English is to speak (leave the fear that you will speak the wrong English, the more errors you make & realize the errors, the more fluent your English will get).

The eligibility for MCA through IP University is Bachelors Degree of a recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed Mathematics and English (core or elective or functional) at least at the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the CBSE or any other equivalent Examination.
