GATE 2017 was easy as compared to 2016 and 2015. So, you can expect the cutoff doe Chemical engineering to be anywhere between 34-38 out of 100. Having said that the ranks would fall in this order approximately:

Hi Vish, there are a wide variety of benefits. Especially when you want to apply for colleges, there they will give you preference if you are a recipient of NTSE scholarship. Do apply for the exam. The only disadvantage of this exam is that if you are not a state board student, then you may have to refer to state board textbook which can be a bit difficult.

You can read the eligibility for Banaras Hindu University B.Com (Hons) in Financial Markets Management here:
"Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with
Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer science/Finance/Financial Markets Management as one of
