If you do not get a job through campus placement and if you go for a job on your own, definitely that is not beneficial and you need to struggle a lot. If an organisation has such policy to give preference for tier 2 colleges over tier 3 or non MBA then only you will get the preference so it is better to stick with the campus placement.

A regular candidate of MBA will perform better in the interview and placement. So a regular candidate is better than a distance candidate because MBA is a professional course. When a company will offer you a job, they will observe your knowledge.
