This is a good question. Many people are confused about this two. Please understand the expansion of both.
1. BE stands for Bachelor of Engineering
2. B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology.
There are many engineering branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aeronautical etc. These are pure engineering branches. In fact , these degree are called as BE or Bachelor of Engineering.
Some other courses / branches are there, which is categorized under technological branches. For Examples, Information Technology / IT, Bio Technology, Bio Informatics etc. The Graduate Courses in these branches are issued as B.Tech
